Ochoa's Mexican Restaurants offer a variety of food. Everything from enchiladas and tamales to rib-eye steaks and chicken strips. Ochoa's has been owned and operated by the Ochoa family since we first started out as a small café on Cedar Creek Lake back in 1969, able to seat about 20 people. However, we quickly grew into one of the biggest family-owned businesses in the East Texas area. One location turned into 2 and 2 turned into 3, passed down from father to sons. We have 3 locations that are owned by 3 different sons of the man who established it, Jose Ochoa, Sr. We have a very family-oriented atmosphere and our wait staff has been voted the friendliest wait staff in the area by the readers of the Athens Daily Review, year after year. We pride ourselves not only on the food we serve, but on our appreciation for our customers. Our staff goes above and beyond to make each customer feel like family and most of our customers we know by name. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Ochoa's also provides catering services for large parties. We prepare all of our food and hot sauce fresh, all day every day, and made to order.
